Metallica Las Vegas Sphere Ticket Prices See Last-Minute Drop

Ticket prices for the first weekend of Metallica's 'Life Burns Faster' residency at the Las Vegas Sphere have seen a recent decrease, according to reports on September 30, 2026.

For the initial two-show run, scheduled for Thursday, October 1, and Saturday, October 3, two-concert passes were previously listed at $1,318 including fees on Vivid Seats as of September 24. As of September 30, these same passes are now available for $1,275, including fees. Individual ticket prices for the Saturday show have also decreased, though the price for the Thursday show has seen a slight increase of $17.

The residency at the Sphere promises unique experiences for attendees, with the band expected to perform different setlists for each show. While specific song selections are not confirmed, historical data from Set List FM suggests that Thursday shows often include tracks like "Master of Puppets," "Seek & Destroy," and "Sad But True," while Saturday shows typically feature songs such as "Ride The Lightning," "Blackened," and "Enter Sandman."

The Sphere venue itself offers an advanced audio experience, utilizing a Holoplot sound system designed to provide high-quality sound throughout the venue without ear-damaging volume near the stage, according to a July 2023 report. This immersive audio system aims to enhance the live performance aspect for all attendees.

Metallica's 'Life Burns Faster' residency at the Sphere is scheduled to run through January 30, 2027, with various dates available. Beyond the Las Vegas shows, the band is also slated for additional tour dates in North America in Spring 2027 as part of their 'M72 Tour,' and will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, in November to mark the venue's 25th anniversary. The band released their eleventh studio album, "72 Seasons," on April 14, 2023.
