At just 10 years old, Max Alexander is rapidly emerging as a significant figure in the fashion world. His online presence, managed by his parents on the account @couture.to.the.max, showcases the intricate process behind his handmade, avant-garde garments, many of which are crafted from reclaimed or recycled materials.

Alexander, a Los Angeles native, has been sewing since the age of 4. He shares his creative journey with millions of followers on Instagram and TikTok, offering insights into a design process that begins not with sketches, but with draping materials directly onto a mannequin. His chosen fabrics include unconventional items such as coffee bean bags, vintage wedding dresses, and even a French military parachute.

Since launching his fashion line in 2021, Alexander's custom designs have garnered attention from celebrities like Sharon Stone and Debra Messing, as well as respected fashion industry figures including Fern Mallis, the creator of New York Fashion Week, and designer Bob Mackie.

In March, Alexander achieved a significant milestone, earning his second Guinness World Record in three years. This latest record recognizes him as the youngest designer to present a collection at Paris Fashion Week. His Paris showcase featured a new sustainable collection.

Further recognition came in 2026 when a short documentary focusing on Alexander's commitment to upcycled fashion was featured at the Tribeca Film Festival. He was also named one of TIME's 100 most influential digital voices of 2026.
