Welsh actor Matthew Rhys has made history at the Emmy Awards, becoming the first person to win two lead acting prizes in a single night. Rhys received accolades for his performances in the supernatural TV comedy 'Widow's Bay' and the psychological thriller 'The Beast In Me'.
Speaking after his wins, Rhys described the experience as "surreal and incredible." He admitted to the BBC that he was not anticipating winning the first award for 'The Beast In Me,' stating, "I hadn't really prepared anything, as may be apparent from the vomit of a speech I came up with."
