Love Island All Stars is reportedly in early talks with previous winner Jess Harding and two recent contestants, Alima Gagigo and Andrada Pop, to appear on the next winter series to be filmed in South Africa.

According to the Daily Mail, which cited The Sun, a source said discussions with Jess, Alima and Andrada are at an "early" stage. The report added producers hope the familiar names — described as "massive fan favourites" — would draw viewers when the All Stars format returns in January with Maya Jama set to resume hosting duties.

Jess Harding won Love Island in 2023 alongside her then partner Sammy Root, who has since appeared on The Only Way Is Essex. Alima Gagigo emerged as a fan favourite from the most recent summer series, while Andrada Pop featured in the Casa Amor segment this summer and was involved in a widely reported love triangle with Dejon Noel-Williams and Megan Moore that provoked heated exchanges on screen.

ITV and producers have not publicly confirmed approaches to the named Islanders. The All Stars format reunites former contestants for another opportunity to form connections and has previously aired a winter series; the proposed South Africa edition would be the third All Stars run.

The casting report arrives amid renewed attention on contestants from the most recent summer season after finalists Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes announced they have split. The couple, who finished third on the ITV series, posted separate statements on Instagram and TikTok saying they had ended their romantic relationship before attending the National Television Awards in London and denying claims of infidelity.

Yasmin posted that she and Jamie had split before the NTAs but had not formally announced it, and called suggestions she had cheated "laughable." She added that anyone who knows her would be aware of her stated preferences and reiterated appreciation for the role Jamie played in her Love Island experience.

Jamie issued a separate statement saying Yasmin "did not cheat" and that their decision to remain friends was made amicably before the NTAs. He described recent social-media speculation about his behaviour that night as inaccurate and thanked supporters of the couple.

Reports from the awards event circulated in tabloids this week saying Yasmin had been seen holding hands with Freddie Fraser, a contestant from BBC's The Traitors, and that the interaction contributed to rumours. A Daily Mail reporter said representatives for Yasmin were contacted for comment.

Producers of Love Island have previously leaned on returning contestants to boost viewership for All Stars editions, and early casting conversations typically occur months ahead of filming. If confirmed, the additions of Harding, Gagigo and Pop would reunite contestants from multiple series and follow the programme's pattern of revisiting popular figures in its expanded formats.

Maya Jama hosted the first All Stars run and is reported to be returning as presenter for the upcoming winter edition. ITV has not released an official schedule or confirmed the full cast for the South Africa series.

Representatives for ITV, Jess Harding, Alima Gagigo, Andrada Pop and the named former contestants did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
