Louis Smith and Charlie Bruce Split After Seven Years

Strictly Come Dancing champion Louis Smith and his girlfriend Charlie Bruce have reportedly split after seven years together. Smith, 37, and Bruce, a jazz dancer, share two daughters: Marley, aged four, and Remi, 21 months.

Sources close to the couple claim they have gone their separate ways, with Bruce reportedly changing her Facebook status to single. Both Smith and Bruce have also unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Despite the reported split, sources indicated that Smith and Bruce are prioritizing co-parenting their young daughters. "It's really sad as the couple were a dedicated family unit, but now they have decided to go their separate ways," a source told The Sun. "They are focused on co-parenting their young daughters as best they can. Both are keeping busy and keeping their heads down during this difficult time."

The couple met while working in the West End and began dating in November 2017. Smith, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2012, has largely kept details of his relationship private but has referred to Bruce as his "beautiful partner."

In 2020, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, with Smith posting on Instagram, "Doing life on my terms. A big surprise and it's amazing to be having a baby girl with my woman." Following the birth of their second daughter, Remi, in 2024, Smith publicly praised Bruce, stating, "Charlie, you are so incredible to go through what you did. Should be so proud."

Smith, an Olympic gymnast, previously dated Billie Whyatt, whom he once described as his "future wife," but they separated in 2011. He later dated TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh after appearing on the BBC gymnastics show Tumble, but their relationship ended six months later in 2015.

In recent years, Smith has worked as a wedding photographer and has also been active on TikTok, participating in fitness challenges.
