Influencer Lorna Luxe, 43, has shared that her late husband, John Andrews, provided her with dating advice before his death. Andrews passed away in February at the age of 64, following a battle with stage four adrenal cancer diagnosed in 2023.

Luxe discovered notes on her phone from Andrews detailing how she should approach finding a new partner and what to look out for as potential red flags. "He wrote notes of the type of person he wants me to be with," Luxe told The Sun. "Things like: 'This person needs to be kind,' or 'Don’t let them do this. That’s a red flag.' He said: 'I worry about your money, so don’t have a joint bank account.' It’s all these cute things where he’s just trying to protect me."

She admitted to fears of having lost her "one great love" but expressed confidence that she will not remain single forever. "I’m such a sociable animal, I’ll be craving attention. I’ve now got to start all this c**p again at 43, when I don’t look as hot as I did when I was 20, and the pickings do get slimmer." Luxe finds hope in the fact that Andrews did not meet her at her current age, suggesting that "life has to keep going on."

Luxe and Andrews met when she was 25 and he was 46. She was working as a flight attendant for Virgin Atlantic at the time. They married in New York shortly after and lived in various locations across England. Andrews, who previously worked as a banker, left his job to focus on his health and support Luxe's career as an influencer after his cancer diagnosis in 2023.

Speaking about his passing, Luxe described his death as "slow and sad," contrary to her imagined scenario. "It wasn’t anything like you see in the films - I’d imagined me nattering away to him until the last minute and him squeezing my hand. But this was slow and sad."

She recalled finding the notes while searching for his passwords as he had instructed. "When I started to go through John’s phone for his passwords, as he told me to, he’d left these short, sweet, beautiful notes." Andrews also compiled a "funny" list of individuals Luxe was not permitted to date, though he did not name specific people.

The couple celebrated their 15th anniversary shortly before his death, with Andrews upgrading her engagement ring to a 15-carat diamond. Luxe indicated that she plans to keep any future relationships more private than her marriage to Andrews.
