Lorna Luxe Honors Late Husband John Andrews on His 65th Birthday

Lorna Luxe, 44, has paid an emotional tribute to her late husband, John Andrews, on what would have been his 65th birthday. Andrews died in February after a battle with stage four adrenal cancer, diagnosed in 2023. Luxe was married to Andrews for 16 years.

On Saturday, Luxe shared a series of photos and videos on Instagram documenting their relationship. "Today would have been your 65th birthday," she wrote. "I miss you John so so much… I’m reading all the notes you left me and i’m doing all the silly sh*t you told me to… spending today with our favourite people and remembering so many special memories we shared together x."

Luxe also revealed that she has not yet slept in the bedroom she shared with Andrews since his passing. She had ordered a new bed, but the delivery men were unable to assemble it, leaving her to sleep in the guest room. "It feels quite poignant to get back into that room, as it was mine and John’s bedroom, and I’ve not slept in it since he died, so I want it to be perfect," she wrote in a column for The Sun. She imagined Andrews would have likely fixed the issue himself and would find it amusing how "girlie" the house has become with just her.

Lorna Luxe and her late husband John Andrews were married for 16 years.

Luxe and Andrews met when she was 25 and he was 46. She was working as a Virgin Atlantic air hostess at the time. They married in New York City and lived in various locations, including Hove, East Sussex, Horsham, and Warwickshire. Andrews, who previously worked as a banker, left his job after his cancer diagnosis to focus on his health and support Luxe's career as an influencer.

Lorna Luxe posted a collection of cherished moments with her husband on Instagram.

In the years leading up to his death, the couple prioritized living life to the fullest, often indulging in luxury hotel stays and trips. Luxe has expressed that she intends to keep any future relationships more private. Reflecting on Andrews's passing in April, she described his death as "slow and sad," contrary to idealized portrayals in films, noting that "every breath became a chore." She also shared that Andrews had left behind "short, sweet, beautiful notes" for her, including a humorous list of individuals she was not permitted to date.
