Lorenzo Lamas has credited "the universe" for reuniting him with Heather Locklear, more than four decades after they first met for a photoshoot.

Locklear, 64, and Lamas, 68, were seen arriving together at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, hand-in-hand. Lamas told a videographer that their reunion was a result of "the universe happening."

When asked about who initiated their reconnection, Lamas suggested it was the promoter who booked them for the same event. The couple's reunion reportedly began at a dinner party in New York City last November, followed by a meeting on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas. Their first public appearance as a couple was at the Chiller Theatre Expo in April.

Locklear and Lamas originally posed together for the July 1983 cover of 'Playgirl' magazine. In the intervening years, both pursued separate relationships and careers. Locklear was previously married to Tommy Lee and later Richie Sambora, and had a long-term relationship with Chris Heisser. Lamas has been married six times previously, most recently divorcing Kenna Scott in June 2025.

Locklear described her current relationship on the "Hollywood and Divine" podcast, stating, "My new guy is very... everything." She added, "When I tell this person I love him, I'm really saying, 'I love you, God.' Because that's what happened. It's from God."

Lamas echoed the sentiment, telling Fox News Digital that he never anticipated their paths crossing again in this way. "I've been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I've ever met," he said.
