Lily Allen brought her "West End Girl" show to Oslo, Norway, on Saturday night, performing at the Oyafestivalen at Toyenparken. The performance is structured as a 55-minute one-woman stage play, differing from a traditional concert format as it includes no audience interaction or encores.
During the show, Allen began on stage in a gold minidress before transitioning to a satin bustier and suspenders. The performance incorporates props, with Allen seen lounging on a chaise longue and lying in a sheer pink dressing gown.
"West End Girl," which details Allen's split from her ex-husband David Harbour and allegations of infidelity, marked a significant musical comeback for the singer last year with its accompanying album. Allen is preparing to embark on the North American leg of her tour next month.
In addition to her live performances, Allen is set to be the subject of a new Prime Video documentary. The film will trace her rise to fame, highlighting her role as a pioneering female artist in the music industry and her influence on subsequent generations of female musicians. The documentary, directed by Mat Whitecross, is slated for release on Prime Video in 2027.
Earlier this year, Allen spoke about the impact of recent life changes on her daughters. She noted their difficulty readjusting to life in the UK following their relocation from New York. Allen has described a taxing year that included finishing an album, undergoing a surgical procedure, experiencing a mental health crisis, and performing in the stage play "Hedda Gabler."
Allen's "West End Girl" album and show stem from her personal experiences following the breakdown of her marriage. The singer, who returned to the UK after her marriage ended, has discussed the challenges her children are facing with the numerous changes in their lives, including moving houses, countries, and schools.
