Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi is reported to have spent approximately £2,000 on drinks for England fans at The Marlborough pub in Mayfair. The gesture came after England's victory over Mexico on Monday.

Capaldi, 29, allegedly covered drinks for patrons at the pub after England's win, with bar staff instructed to charge all orders to his tab. A partygoer told The Sun that the total reached nearly £2,000, describing it as a "massive treat and a real lovely gesture."

The singer was reportedly at the pub from kick-off with friends and was later joined by Rita Ora, 35, and her companions. Videos shared on Instagram Stories by Ora appeared to show them singing with the crowd. In one clip, Ora indicated she had been celebrating into the early hours.

Ora also shared a post reflecting on the night, writing, "NOTHING beats a London pub game EVER…. It’s coming home!!!" She humorously noted her lack of hangover, stating, "The fact I woke up with my hair clips still in and my hair has not moved says it all."

Capaldi's representatives have not yet commented on the reported spending. The singer recently returned from a holiday in Mykonos. Ora, meanwhile, has been discussing her upcoming music and film projects, including potential appearances in films directed by her husband, Taika Waititi. She also spoke recently about her fertility journey and preparing her body for menopause.
