Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford Reunite at Milan Fashion Week

Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford, known for their roles as Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen in the hit series "Gossip Girl," shared a reunion at Milan Fashion Week on Thursday. The actresses were seated side-by-side in the front row for the Max Mara spring 2027 fashion show.

Both Meester, 40, and Rutherford, 57, were noted for their sophisticated attire. Meester wore a white button-down shirt paired with a green sequined midi skirt, while Rutherford opted for a black cashmere car coat buttoned to her neck. Both completed their looks with dark sunglasses and styled their hair in an updo, a style reminiscent of their on-screen characters.

Rutherford previously spoke about her appreciation for well-made items, telling Page Six Style in April, "I’ve always been very much a minimalist in many ways, but I like beautiful things." She also noted that her extensive experience in acting has involved a lot of "dress-up."

While the pair were seen together at the Elie Saab show in the spring, their public appearances together are infrequent. Rutherford has cultivated a significant presence on social media, often sharing photos of her fashion choices. She also shared that during the filming of "Gossip Girl," she incorporated some of her personal designer pieces into her character's wardrobe, as such items were not as widely accessible then as they are today.

The actresses first appeared together in "Gossip Girl" in 2007.
