Leigh-Anne Pinnock has described as "wild" her experience jumping out of a helicopter while three months pregnant during the filming of the final episode of Celebrity Traitors. The Little Mix singer, who is expecting her third child with husband Andre Gray, revealed she was unaware of her pregnancy at the time of the stunt.
During an appearance on Greg James's BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show, Pinnock reflected on the challenging final mission, stating, "It was just such an incredible moment and to do it pregnant... To do it pregnant as well, kind of wild." James likened her to action characters, saying, "You're James Bond," to which Pinnock responded, "I'm Lara Croft, is what I am."
Pinnock had previously shared in an interview with Glamour that she felt "something wasn't right" during filming but chose to ignore it, attributing her lack of morning sickness to her carrying her twins, who were born in August 2021. She noted that The X Factor, where she found fame, was intense, but Celebrity Traitors was on "another weird level" due to the constant fear of being murdered. The singer also recalled the difficulty of the first trimester of pregnancy.
During the show's finale, Pinnock participated in an adrenaline-filled mission to increase the prize fund. She was seen hanging from a helicopter before abseiling down to a loch. Despite her efforts, Pinnock was banished before the end of the game, and the prize money was ultimately won by faithfuls Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft.
Fans took to social media to praise Pinnock for her bravery in undertaking the helicopter stunt while pregnant, with many calling her a "queen" and marveling at her resilience during the challenging filming conditions in Scotland. The final mission saw the celebrities successfully add £18,000 to the prize fund.
