Leigh-Anne Pinnock Praised for Daring Helicopter Stunt During 'Celebrity Traitors' Finale While Pregnant
Fans lauded the singer's bravery after she completed a high-stakes challenge while three months pregnant without revealing her condition to cast or crew.
Fans of "Celebrity Traitors" expressed admiration for Leigh-Anne Pinnock after she performed a daring helicopter stunt during the show's finale, despite being three months pregnant at the time. The Little Mix singer, 35, did not disclose her pregnancy to production or fellow contestants during filming in Scotland between late May and early June.
Pinnock's participation in the challenge involved hanging from the side of a moving helicopter before abseiling down to a loch. The stunt aimed to increase the prize money for the contestants. Viewers took to social media to commend her for undertaking the risky task while pregnant.
"I cannot believe Leigh-Anne jumped from a helicopter pregnant, that baby is going to be an adrenaline junkie," one viewer wrote. Another added, "And omg Leigh Anne doing all this pregnant! The queen of my heart!"
Leigh-Anne and the other celebrities successfully added £18,000 to the prize fund during the final mission. However, Pinnock was later banished after the group suspected her interactions with Miranda Hart were a deliberate distraction, following the murder of Ross Kemp.
Ultimately, Faithfuls Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian "Bash" Croft were declared the winners. They successfully identified and banished the Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny in the final moments of the show. Ranganathan and Croft each won £41,500 for their chosen charities: the Refugee Council for Ranganathan and Choose Love for Croft.
Pinnock publicly announced her pregnancy in July through a social media video. Her former Little Mix bandmates, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, shared congratulatory messages.
Pinnock has previously spoken about the realities of her pregnancy, sharing in a social media post that her third trimester was progressing quickly. She noted the emotional and hormonal fluctuations of pregnancy while continuing her professional commitments, expressing excitement for the arrival of her "lil bubba" and the "chaotic" family life ahead.
