Leigh-Anne Pinnock Finds Her Voice on 'Celebrity Traitors'

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has stated that her participation in "Celebrity Traitors" has been instrumental in restoring her confidence and enabling her to find her voice. The singer, who rose to fame with the group Little Mix, shared that she often felt the need to "shrink herself" while part of the band.

Pinnock, 35, achieved global success with bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Jesy Nelson after winning The X Factor in 2011. Despite the group's widespread popularity, she admitted that being in a collective dynamic "lowered her voice" and that it took time for her to fully express herself off-stage.

During an emotional discussion with her co-stars on a recent episode of "Celebrity Traitors," Pinnock revealed that the necessity of defending herself within the game has significantly bolstered her self-assurance. "Having to defend myself in this game has given me a bit of confidence to have a voice," she said.

Little Mix went on an indefinite hiatus in 2022, and Pinnock launched her solo career in 2023. Leigh-Anne embarked on a solo career in 2023 following the indefinite hiatus of the girl band in 2022.

The show also featured a dramatic twist when comedian James Acaster revealed himself as a Traitor before the vote had commenced, a moment viewers described as unprecedented in the show's history. Acaster's confession came after he and host Maya Jama faced scrutiny from other contestants regarding a fictional murder scenario. Acaster explained that he had been made a Traitor against his will and wished he had been a Faithful.
