Leigh-Anne Pinnock Defies Due Date Expectations, Stuns in Latest Maternity Photos
The singer, 37 weeks pregnant, shares a defiant message amidst fan speculation about her continued work schedule.
Pregnant singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock has showcased her baby bump, announcing she is "37 weeks and still going strong" as her due date approaches. The former Little Mix member, who is expecting her third child with husband Andre Gray, addressed fan comments questioning her ability to continue working late in her pregnancy.
In a video posted to Instagram, Pinnock, 35, paired her message with an audio clip from her song "Clickbait." "Tell that to the full day of promo I just did. 37 weeks and still going strong!!" she captioned the post, asserting her continued activity.
Her fans rallied in support, with many praising her resilience and work ethic. Comments included "Queen you are," "So many other women do as well … kudos to all of them," "mother is mothering in every sense of the word," and "because the show must go on and leigh-anne IS the show."
One fan remarked, "Because that's what most people do guys. She's not growing a human, not made of glass… she's got this as do all other women who work till they drop."
This recent update follows Pinnock's appearance on the television show "Celebrity Traitors," where her dance lesson with co-star Miranda Hart was hailed by viewers as a "TV moment of the year." The duo engaged in a humorous session learning moves from Little Mix's hit song "Touch."
The dance lesson occurred while other contestants were plotting to eliminate a participant, creating a stark contrast that viewers found highly entertaining. Pinnock's offer to teach Hart, 53, some choreography from the music video for "Touch" led to Hart's playful query, "Where am I thrusting from?" The segment was dubbed "Little Mix and Big Mix" by Hart.
Fans on social media platform X reacted enthusiastically to the juxtaposition of the intense game strategy and the lighthearted dance tutorial. Comments noted the humor in Pinnock and Hart unknowingly avoiding elimination by being engrossed in their dance routine. The scene was described as an "iconic" moment and "an incredible piece of television."
