Lana Del Rey Marks Second Wedding Anniversary with Never-Before-Seen Footage
The singer shared intimate clips and photos from her wedding to Jeremy Dufrene, celebrating their milestone with fans.
Lana Del Rey celebrated her second wedding anniversary with husband Jeremy Dufrene by sharing a collection of previously unseen photos and video clips from their nuptials. The "Born to Die" hitmaker took to Instagram on Saturday to post a reel capturing tender moments from the ceremony and their subsequent married life.
The footage included a clip of the couple kissing at the altar during their outdoor wedding, held on the Louisiana bayou on September 26, 2024. Del Rey, 41, was seen wearing a gown from the bridal brand CINQ, featuring a full skirt and lace trim. Another throwback image showed the newlyweds sharing a kiss on a boat, while a black and white snapshot captured Del Rey smiling among guests.
Additional images in the carousel offered glimpses into their relationship, showcasing the couple enjoying excursions such as a visit to Coney Island and a trip to New York City. One photo highlighted a diamond ring on Del Rey's finger, and other clips depicted road trips they have taken together.
In her anniversary post, Del Rey expressed her gratitude to Dufrene, writing, "Hi husband, happy second anniversary… Thank you for making everywhere I've ever lived feel like home again. And also to our lil fam … literally everything we do is the best. Xo."
Del Rey first met Dufrene, an alligator tour guide, in 2019 during a visit to Louisiana for the Buku Music + Art Project event. She reportedly took one of his swamp boat tours, and their relationship began to blossom. The couple appeared to make their relationship public a month before their wedding, when they were photographed together in London.
Dufrene has been a supportive presence in Del Rey's life. In an interview with W Magazine last year, she described him as having a "calm, strong presence" and noted his reassuring response to her concerns about their different worlds. "I work with alligators - I have tough skin," he reportedly told her. Del Rey characterized him as "the most impactful person in my life."
The couple has been seen together at various events and outings, including a recent shopping trip in Los Angeles where Dufrene carried Del Rey's tote bag.
