Lana Del Rey Celebrates Second Anniversary, Shares Rare Glimpse of Blended Family
The singer expressed gratitude for her husband and stepchildren in a social media post.
Lana Del Rey is embracing her role as a stepmother, marking her second wedding anniversary with swamp tour guide Jeremy Dufrene by sharing a rare look at their blended family. Del Rey, 41, took to Instagram on Saturday to post a snapshot featuring Dufrene's three children: sons Dillon and Conner, and daughter Kadence.
"Hi husband, happy second anniversary… Thank you for making everywhere I’ve ever lived feel like home again. And also to our lil fam … literally everything we do is the best. Xo," Del Rey captioned the image. Dufrene, 51, also shared anniversary tributes, expressing his love for his "Beautiful and Precious lil wife."
Dufrene shares his children with ex-wife Gina. He also helped raise his ex-fiancée Kelli Welsh's daughter, Alanna, who described him as treating her "as his own."
In an August 2025 interview with W Magazine, Del Rey discussed her marriage, noting Dufrene's calm demeanor, which she contrasted with his work as an alligator handler. "When we met, I realized pretty immediately that I loved him, but that it might get difficult because of what I was bringing to the table," she said. Dufrene reportedly responded by saying, "I work with alligators – I have tough skin."
Del Rey and Dufrene married in an intimate ceremony in Louisiana just one month after their relationship became public and five years after they first met. Following the wedding, Welsh, who was engaged to Dufrene for 12 years until October 2023, expressed surprise at the speed of his marriage but shared well wishes.
"I am in shock because we were engaged for 12 years, and he got married after one month," Welsh told the Daily Mail in 2024. "But I am happy for him. He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man. He needed to get out of his comfort zone. He was used to bayou life and being out on the swamp. He is deserving of this blessing."
