Kourtney Kardashian Reacts to Jennifer Lawrence Calling Her 'Annoying'

Kourtney Kardashian voiced her strong disapproval of actress Jennifer Lawrence's remarks calling her "more annoying than ever" and stating she "drives me nuts." The exchange, which originated from a 2025 Vanity Fair lie-detector interview, was addressed by Kardashian during the season 8 premiere of "The Kardashians." Lawrence later sent an email apologizing for her comments.

Lawrence's remarks came when she was asked to name her favorite member of the Kardashian family. While she selected Khloé Kardashian, she then offered criticism of Kourtney's behavior as depicted on their reality show. "Everything has to be an announcement," Lawrence stated. "It’s like, you know, ‘I’m not gonna wear outfits anymore.’ Like, just wear whatever you want. Don’t make an announcement about it. Or, like, ‘I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Like, just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shh."

Kourtney, 47, revealed that she was particularly upset upon learning that her mother, Kris Jenner, had spent time with Lawrence and Emma Stone. "My mom wrote something, like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone, I talked to them last night, they’re the best,’" Kardashian recalled on the show. "And I go, ‘F--- that b---- Jennifer Lawrence.’"

Kardashian further expressed her anger, saying, "I said to my mom, ‘OK, she thinks she’s one of my sisters? I’ll f---ing slap the s--- out of her.’ I was like, ‘Invite her over and we can — I’ll go for it like she’s my sister.’"

She later discussed the situation with a friend, humorously considering a response that referenced the infamous physical altercation between Kourtney and her sister Kim Kardashian. "She asked Kim for my email, and then she sent me that email, which is so nice," Kourtney said. "I mean, do I say something funny? Like, ‘You can come over and I’ll beat your f---ing a--?’ I’ll just say, next time you wanna come over, we can go at it — Kourtney and Kim style."

Despite her initial strong reaction, Kardashian admitted that upon rewatching Lawrence's interview, the comments were "not that bad, actually." She explained that it was a "sensitive week" for her when the remarks were made and she felt that "everybody was ganging up on me" as the show aired.

The incident highlights an unusual moment in Lawrence's long-standing admiration for the Kardashian family. She has previously expressed being a significant fan, even guest-hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in 2017 to interview Kim Kardashian, whom she described as her "utter obsession."
