Kip Moore Releases New Track 'The Wolf' for 'The Terminal List' Season Two

Country music singer Kip Moore has released a new song titled "The Wolf" for the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series "The Terminal List." The series, based on the book collection by former Navy SEAL Jack Carr, premiered its second season on October 21.

Moore announced the release of "The Wolf" on Instagram, describing how the song was inspired by his fascination with the special operations community and the internal struggles faced by those in the field. He explained that the concept for the song arose after reading scripts for the new season and encountering a note that read, "It's like the battle between two wolves."

"I've always been fascinated by the world of special operations and I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone willing to endure that level of training, and the sacrifices it takes," Moore stated. "As I started reading through the scripts, I kept coming back to something Jared [Shaw] had scribbled in his notes: ‘It's like the battle between two wolves.’"

Moore aimed to explore the complex, human side of these experiences, focusing on internal battles and the mental and spiritual toll they can take. "I wanted to dig into the internal battles, the weight of what these individuals carry, and the toll those experiences can take on a person's mind and spirit. I tried to put myself in the character's shoes and write from that place, exploring what he might be wrestling with on a deeper level. That's really where ‘The Wolf’ came from," he added.

"The Terminal List" stars Chris Pratt as Navy SEAL James Reece, who is on a quest for revenge. Season two of the series is based on Carr's novel "True Believer."
