Kim Kardashian Judges Chris Appleton's 'Strictly' Moves, Shirley Ballas Invites Star to Join Panel

Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton shared a playful video on Instagram Saturday, featuring his close friend Kim Kardashian acting as a judge for his "Strictly Come Dancing" moves. Appleton, 43, performed dance steps in an underground car park, with Kardashian holding up a score pad from a car.

Kardashian initially awarded Appleton a score of two, joking, "For that, not being good under pressure, just because you are you." She added that he needed to "work on dancing under pressure" but encouraged him, "YOU’RE GONNA KILL IT!!!" Appleton then performed a second move, which earned him an eight from Kardashian. He commented that his moves "don't look as good here" in the car park setting.

Following the video's release, "Strictly" head judge Shirley Ballas extended an invitation to Kardashian to join the BBC show's judging panel, commenting, "I mean our desk IS big enough for five chairs ngl." It remains unclear if Kardashian will make an official appearance on the show. Her visit to London coincides with the opening of a SKIMS store branch on Regent Street.

During the "Strictly Come Dancing" launch show on Saturday, it was announced that Chris Appleton is partnered with veteran dancer Amy Dowden. The program also featured the debut of new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe, who are taking over from former hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The judges for the season include Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke.
