Comedian Kevin Hart is set to star in the new Netflix comedy film "72 Hours," premiering on July 24. Directed by Tim Story, who previously worked with Hart on the "Ride Along" films, the movie was penned by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, Kevin Burrows, and Matt Mider.

The plot follows Joe (Hart), a 40-year-old man who is mistakenly added to a group chat for a bachelor party organized by a group of men in their twenties. Despite the age difference, Joe decides to join their weekend celebration.

Cast and Collaboration

In addition to Hart, "72 Hours" features several current "Saturday Night Live" cast members, including Marcello Hernandez, Ben Marshall, and Kam Patterson. Mason Gooding, known for his roles in the "Scream" films, also appears in the supporting cast. Other notable cast members include Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor, "Severance" actor Zach Cherry, "Better Call Saul" star Michael Mando, and comedian Mike Epps.

Hart and Hernandez recently promoted the film on "The TODAY Show," engaging in a lighthearted on-air exchange. Hernandez, a regular on "SNL," teased Hart about wearing sunglasses indoors, attributing it to a late night, while Hart playfully admonished Hernandez for not taking the show seriously.
