Kerry Katona has embraced the festive season by putting up her Christmas decorations more than seven weeks before the holiday. Following Halloween, the former Atomic Kitten star, 46, quickly began preparing her home for Christmas, featuring two trees and a large nutcracker.
Katona enlisted the services of Decorators For Christmas, who adorned her Cheshire residence with twinkling lights, large bauble wreaths, and a prominent garland above her door. She shared the results with fans, showcasing a decorated hallway with a pink nutcracker and a bauble garland along the stairs. Katona also revealed her first Christmas tree, elaborately decorated with oversized baubles, tinsel, poinsettias, bows, and numerous lights. Her lounge featured a second, heavily adorned tree, along with a mantelpiece garland, another nutcracker, and a golden bell. She captioned her post: "I know I know but what can I say…. Christmas is coming. another amazing job by @decorators.for.christmas."
Fans reacted positively to Katona's early display, with many commenting on how beautiful her decorations looked. Her festive preparations align with a similar early holiday spirit shown by Amanda Holden, who also unveiled her Christmas decorations ahead of schedule.
Amanda Holden, 55, displayed her £7 million Surrey mansion adorned with bauble-decorated foliage cascading down to the driveway. Inside, matching foliage was installed along her grand staircase, and her first of several trees, decorated with green velvet bows and a large golden reindeer, was visible in the entranceway. Holden expressed her deep affection for Christmas, stating on Instagram: "I don’t think I’ll ever be able to explain quite what Christmas means to me. I was lucky enough to have a childhood full of love. We didn’t have much, but somehow Christmas always felt like we had everything."
She added, "Even now, the decorations going up give me a lump in my throat. I’m straight back to being little, full of excitement and believing anything was possible. And for the record, I still believe in Father Christmas. Always have. Always will."
Holden credited the team at @kellylouisefloralartistry for transforming her home, describing them as "lovely, down-to-earth" and "an absolute joy to have around." She noted that while she paid for the installation, she was eager to praise good work: "And I absolutely love what they’ve created."
