Katie Price to Feature in Documentary About Ex-Husband Lee Andrews' Alleged Scams
The former glamour model will reportedly join other alleged victims in a Sky documentary investigating the con artist world of her former partner.
Katie Price is slated to appear in a new documentary focused on the alleged fraudulent activities of her ex-husband, Lee Andrews. The production, reportedly commissioned by Sky and from the production company Mindhouse, co-owned by Louis Theroux, will explore the "con artist world" of Andrews.
Sources indicate that Price, 48, will be among a group of individuals who claim to have been victims of Andrews' alleged scams. The documentary aims to provide a comprehensive look at his activities and the impact on those affected.
"This show examines the full story of Lee Andrews and the people he has affected," a show insider told The Sun. "As with all Sky/Mindhouse documentaries this will be a 360 look at the story. It won't centre on a single contributor but will feature a range of voices to uncover the truth behind the headlines."
Price and Andrews, 43, were married for eight months before parting ways in early September. The split reportedly occurred after Price discovered Andrews had only £2.22 in his bank account, despite claiming to be a millionaire.
Following the discovery, Price reportedly deleted all photos of herself and Andrews from her social media and consulted a divorce lawyer. She has described feeling "embarrassed" and that Andrews had "scammed her heart."
Andrews has faced legal troubles, including being imprisoned twice in Dubai this year on fraud charges. While incarcerated, he reportedly sent a voice note stating the split was "for the best." He has also spoken publicly about his time in Al-Awir jail, seemingly confessing to wrongdoing by stating, "God, don't go against the system guys, they will bury you."
Andrews has stated his intention to leave the country, despite previous travel bans. The current status of any travel restrictions remains unclear following his jail time.
