Katie Price stated it is the "first time in 48 years" she can look in the mirror and feel confident, expressing delight with her National Television Awards (NTA) makeup. The 48-year-old former glamour model attended the event at London's O2 arena on Tuesday, shortly after having new breast implants and facial fillers.
Despite noticeable bruising around her eyes from recent cosmetic procedures, Price was determined to appear at the awards show. Makeup artist Mitchell Halliday was credited with her NTA look. In a video shared by Halliday on Instagram, Price reacted emotionally to the results, saying, "I can actually say when I hate myself, I can look in the mirror and say 'I fancy that, she looks good looking here'. I do!" She added, "First time in 48 years I can look and go 'I actually look a sort.'"
Price described Halliday as "the ultimate" makeup artist and expressed her desire for him to accompany her to future events. She noted how he had managed to create her look despite the bruising from her procedures the previous day.
For the red carpet, Price wore a long-sleeved white shirt paired with lace hot pants and black tights, designed to conceal her new breast implants. She completed the ensemble with black heels, a wet-look hairstyle, and large diamond Valentino earrings. Her daughter, Princess, attended the event in a contrasting shimmering blue ballgown.
Earlier on Tuesday, Price had showcased the results of her cosmetic work, including her new breast implants and a black eye, hours after returning from Brussels where the procedures were performed. She had flown to Brussels because one of her breasts was slightly larger than the other, leading to the insertion of a new implant and additional augmentation. Price also mentioned receiving facial fillers, which she felt initially made her "look like a hamster" due to swelling. She explained that filler was applied under the muscle and into the bone in areas that had become hollowed with age and weight loss, causing soreness and swelling upon waking.
Price's appearance at the NTAs followed the airing of a four-part documentary, "Katie Price: Nothing To Hide," which chronicled three decades of her public life. She had also recently appeared on Olivia Attwood's show "Price Of Perfection," where she discussed her extensive history of cosmetic surgeries. Price has undergone numerous procedures, including multiple facelifts and breast augmentations, estimating around 30 to 40 surgeries in total. She noted that she has received many procedures for free due to her fame but stated she would be able to pay for them if she chose to, estimating she has spent approximately £40,000 on surgeries over the years.
