Katie Holmes has made her relationship with boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky Instagram official, posting a birthday tribute to him on Tuesday.
“Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️ @jasonbardyarmosky,” Holmes captioned a photo of herself and Yarmosky embracing. The post also featured an image of the artist’s birthday cake. This public declaration follows a softer launch of their relationship on social media last month, when Holmes re-shared several Instagram Stories posted by Yarmosky, including one he had taken of her.
Rumors of the pair dating first emerged in July when an eyewitness told People they were seen holding hands at a movie screening in the Hamptons. An insider described them as seeming "very easy together" with Holmes exhibiting "a smile on her face all night."
TMZ reported that Holmes, 47, and Yarmosky, 39, first met in June at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City. Later that month, Page Six obtained photos of the couple during a dinner date in the city, showing them appearing affectionate and unable to keep their hands off each other.
An insider told Page Six in July that while the couple was close, Holmes was not yet ready to introduce Yarmosky to her daughter, Suri, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise. "Things are still pretty new between Katie and Jason, and they’re intentionally taking it slow," the source stated. "There haven’t been any major steps in the relationship yet, they’re still in the dating phase for now."
