Katie Alexander, girlfriend of TV presenter Eamonn Holmes, has shared an Instagram post paying tribute to men who are "masking their pain," amid Holmes' ongoing health struggles following a stroke in April. The post comes after reports that Alexander was forced to move out of the shared flat she occupied with Holmes last month, due to a strain in their relationship.

Alexander re-shared a message for Men's Health Month, which highlighted individuals who are "afraid to be vulnerable; feeling unseen or unsupported; masking pain with a smile; experiencing suicidal ideation; struggling with body image issues; healing from trauma." This follows a cryptic Instagram post from Alexander, alluding to relationship difficulties shortly after moving out.

Sources close to the situation suggest Alexander feels "cast aside" and "very, very upset" by recent events. It is reported that Holmes' ex-wives, Ruth Langsford and Gabrielle Holmes, along with their children, have united to support him during his recovery, leaving Alexander feeling excluded. Friends believe the "Holmes clan have pulled together to form a close unit," but Katie has been "left out in the cold, on her own."

Alexander, who is 22 years Holmes' junior, began dating the presenter in 2024 after his marriage to Langsford ended. She has two children from a previous marriage and had been dividing her time between Yorkshire and Holmes' rented penthouse apartment in Kingston upon Thames. She has reportedly been "devastated" by the recent turn of events, including being asked to clear her belongings from the apartment, a decision reportedly made by Holmes' children from his first marriage.

Holmes suffered a stroke in April and has been hospitalized since. The couple was last seen together in public in June. Prior to his stroke, Holmes had spoken positively about Alexander, calling her "the perfect tonic" for his health woes. He has faced significant health challenges in recent years, including major spinal surgery in 2022 for slipped discs and ongoing issues with arthritis in his spine.

Despite a previous vow to return to his anchor role on GB News, reports suggest Holmes will not be returning to the channel, with his recovery taking longer than anticipated and those close to him believing his "career is now over."
