Kate Garraway and Jenni Falconer Embody Dolly Parton for Charity Event
Broadcasters don cowgirl attire to support Global's Make Some Noise initiative, which has raised over £2 million.
Kate Garraway and Jenni Falconer recently donned cowgirl-themed ensembles to honor the late Dolly Parton as part of Global's Make Some Noise campaign. The ITV presenter, 59, and radio host, 50, were photographed linking arms and walking through London in their festive outfits.
Garraway wore a pink cowgirl jumpsuit reminiscent of Parton's iconic style, paired with white boots and a matching hat. Falconer opted for a red and white western shirt, a blue miniskirt, and white cowboy boots. Both completed their looks with blonde curly wigs.
The charity event also saw Vicky Pattison complete a 250-mile journey from Newcastle to London, involving cycling, running, and kayaking. Upon Pattison's arrival at Heart's Leicester Square studios, it was announced that Global's Make Some Noise had raised over £2 million.
This event occurred shortly after Garraway experienced vocal difficulties. On a recent episode of Good Morning Britain, she apologized to viewers for her hoarse voice, explaining that she had been talking and singing extensively the previous week. Despite her condition, she assured viewers she was not in pain. Colleagues suggested remedies such as hot water with honey and lemon, and vocal rest, though Garraway humorously noted that not talking was not in her nature. She was later taken off air to allow her voice to recover, with Faye Barker stepping in to present the news.
