Kaley Cuoco shares tender moment between daughters Matilda and Philomena
The actress posted a photo of her elder daughter cuddling her newborn sister one week after the baby's arrival.
Kaley Cuoco has offered a glimpse into her growing family, sharing an adorable photo of her daughters Matilda and Philomena. The image, posted to Instagram Stories, shows three-year-old Matilda embracing her newborn sister.
One week after welcoming Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey, born on October 12, Cuoco posted a mirror selfie with her infant daughter. She captioned the image, "One week old over here!" The actress was seen wearing a black tank top and leggings.
A subsequent image captured Matilda, her older daughter with fiancé Tom Pelphrey, affectionately cuddling her baby sibling. Cuoco added a pale pink heart GIF with the word "sisters" to the post.
Cuoco and Pelphrey announced their daughter's birth on social media on October 19. The Big Bang Theory alum shared the news with her nearly eight million followers, stating, "Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey 10/12/26." She added, "There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing. We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete."
Cuoco also expressed her love for Pelphrey, calling him "girl daddy for life." She joked about Matilda's readiness for her baby sister's arrival, saying, "Time to bring Matilda’s baby home!"
The couple, who have been together for four years after meeting in April 2022, announced their engagement in August 2024. Cuoco previously shared her pregnancy journey, posting a gender reveal cake photo alongside baby bump mirror selfies. She revealed that Matilda would soon have a little sister, writing, "Completing our little family, what a dream come true! This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!!"
Pelphrey proposed to Cuoco, and they announced their engagement in August 2024. The couple met in April 2022, with their mutual talent manager playing matchmaker. Earlier this year, Cuoco spoke about motherhood, addressing critics of mom-shaming. "Every mom I can guarantee is doing the best they can," she told E! News. "Look, everyone's got something to say about everything. There's no change before I had kids, to having kids, to where I am in my life."
