Julianne Moore and Daughter Liv Freundlich Shine in Messika Diamonds at Paris Fashion Week
The Oscar winner and her 24-year-old daughter attended Messika's Paris Fashion Week show, both adorned in the jeweler's creations.
Julianne Moore and her daughter, Liv Freundlich, made a sparkling appearance at Messika's show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. Both mother and daughter were adorned in diamonds from the luxury jeweler.
Moore, 65, wore a butter-yellow knit maxi dress complemented by Messika's Midnight Sun diamond ear cuffs and the Divine Enigma necklace. This necklace, an 18-karat white gold collar glittering with pavé diamonds, bears a resemblance to a piece worn by Dakota Johnson at the recent MTV VMAs.
Moore's version of the necklace features a detachable pendant centered on a 0.80-carat oval-cut diamond, surrounded by additional pavé diamonds, bringing the total carat weight to 13.20. In contrast, Johnson's necklace featured a larger emerald-cut stone, estimated to be four to five carats, with an estimated value of around 350,000 Australian dollars (approximately $244,000 USD).
Freundlich, 24, opted for the Move Uno diamond choker necklace in yellow gold, priced at $6,770, paired with a black Skims minidress that cost $168. She also attended the Loewe show the following day.
Moore, who has been a Messika ambassador since March and is the face of its Moderniste campaign, was styled by Kate Young, who also styles Johnson. At the Thursday event, Moore was seated in the front row alongside other notable figures including Carla Bruni, Ester Expósito, Miriam Leone, Kiko Mizuhara, and Kim Yoo-jung.
Freundlich, a graduate of Northwestern University, has a history of attending fashion events with her mother since her early teens. She has previously appeared front row at shows for Reed Krakoff, Ralph Lauren, and Bottega Veneta. In 2017, Freundlich also participated in a J.Crew presentation.
Moore previously shared a beauty tip she imparted to her daughter in 2022: "Don’t destroy your eyebrows like I did, and countless other women that I know." She noted that Freundlich "has appreciation for makeup and fashion" but "doesn’t overdo it."
