Radio presenter Jordan North is reportedly facing a legal dispute amounting to approximately £1 million after leaving his former management company, Insanity, to join a rival agency. North recently switched to CAA, which represents prominent artists like Harry Styles and Beyoncé.

Insanity claims that North has breached elements of his contract following his departure. A source told The Sun that the former management firm believes North owes them a seven-figure sum. "They're taking legal action and it’s claimed they think he owes them around £1 million. It’s crazy money and it’s become the talk of the industry," the source stated.

North, who hosts the Capital Breakfast show, is said to be disputing the claims and standing firm, though the situation is expected to incur significant legal costs. The dispute arises after Insanity reportedly supported North's career from his Radio 1 days through to his current role.

North joined Capital Breakfast in April 2024, replacing Roman Kemp. Prior to that, he spent a decade at BBC Radio 1, departing in February 2024. During his time at Capital, North has publicly highlighted his show's listening figures, claiming at one point they were beating Radio 1 among younger audiences, a remark that hinted at a potential tension with his former employer.
