Jodie Comer Dazzles in Red at Givenchy Show During Paris Fashion Week
The 'Killing Eve' star attended the Givenchy Womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 collection event alongside Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe.
Jodie Comer made a striking appearance in a scarlet halterneck top at Givenchy's Paris Fashion Week show on Friday, where the French fashion house unveiled its Womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 collection.
Comer, 33, paired the bold red top, featuring gathered material draped from the waist, with smart black trousers and heeled black mules. She swept her hair into an updo and was seen smiling for photographs before taking her seat on the front row.
She was joined by actor Eddie Redmayne, 44, and his wife Hannah Bagshawe, 43. Redmayne opted for a double denim ensemble, including a jacket with an upturned collar and matching baggy jeans. Hannah Bagshawe also wore red, complementing a black leather skirt with a cardigan.
Other notable attendees included Viscountess Emma Weymouth, who wore a plunging black gown with a bomber jacket and sunglasses. Janelle Monáe embraced androgynous chic in a grey pinstripe suit, and stylist Law Roach sported a blue plaid outfit. Cynthia Erivo made a statement in a black leather jumpsuit-style ensemble, accessorized with a silver handbag, large black earrings, and platform heels.
Paris Fashion Week commenced on Monday, with collections from designers including Victoria Beckham and Saint Laurent. Louis Vuitton is scheduled to close the event on October 6.
Earlier this year, Comer spoke to Harper's Bazaar about career anxieties, particularly her first theater role at age 29. She expressed feeling anxious about audience perception but has since gained more confidence and self-awareness. "I feel that when you’re playing a character with certain attributes, you are forced to touch upon, discover and illuminate those parts of yourself," she said.
When filming in Belfast for 'The Death of Robin Hood', Comer noted her preference for having a kitchen while on location, highlighting her love for cooking and gardening. She described her dream as having a space where she could garden freely. Regarding her role in 'Killing Eve', she felt the character Villanelle's multifaceted nature allowed her more freedom and prevented her from being typecast.
