Actress Joan Collins, 93, was seen enjoying a romantic dinner with her husband Percy Gibson, 61, aboard a yacht in St. Tropez. The couple were observed leaving their date on Monday evening.
Collins appeared glamorous in leaf-patterned trousers, a black vest top, a velvet headband, and gold jewelry, complemented by a slinky scarf. Gibson, matching the summery atmosphere, wore a white and pink shirt and carried Collins's white handbag as they disembarked.
The couple, who share a 32-year age difference, have been married for 24 years. They tied the knot in 2002 at London's Claridges Hotel. Collins has owned a villa in St. Tropez for three decades, spending several months there each summer for over 30 years.
Collins has previously shared insights into her approach to maintaining her appearance. She has stated that her regimen does not involve Botox or plastic surgery. Instead, she emphasizes a strategy of eating less as she has aged, noting she consumes significantly less than she did in her youth. Collins has expressed a desire to live to 100, attributing her health and appearance to a healthy lifestyle.
She has described simple meals like "broccoli and boiled eggs" as quick fixes for weight management. In an interview with The Express, she stated, "No knives. Had Botox once, years ago. Hated it. I'm an actress, I have to have expression." She advises that "You need half the food at 50 as you ate at 25. Half as much again at 75." Collins also recommends diligent skincare, always wearing makeup when leaving the house, and avoiding tap water.
Regarding exercise, Collins noted a shift in her routine over the years. In her youth, she was very active, spending hours dancing in discotheques and nightclubs from the age of 16. Later, she incorporated gym workouts and Pilates. However, she acknowledged that as one gets older, the body cannot withstand the same level of strenuous activity. In recent years, a trapped nerve issue limited her physical activity for two months.
