Jett Kenny, son of Australian Olympians Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny, has begun his married life with a honeymoon in Sicily, accompanied by a large group of friends. Kenny and his new wife, Lily Brown, tied the knot for a second time on Friday in the hilltop town of Taormina, Sicily, following a civil ceremony in Brisbane in June.
The couple, who announced their engagement in September of the previous year, opted for a lavish ceremony in Sicily after their more low-key courthouse wedding. Photos shared on Instagram show Kenny, 31, and Brown, 28, celebrating with their companions on a yacht. The images depict a festive atmosphere with bottles of beer, cocktails, and a card game using a deck customized with their married names.
Brown wore an ivory gown with a long train and veil, accessorized with gold and pearl earrings, while Kenny sported a grey suit with a white shirt. The wedding reportedly took place on September 4th.
Kenny's divorced parents, Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny, were reportedly in attendance at the reception and appeared to maintain a friendly relationship, celebrating with family and friends. Curry attended with her husband, Mark Tabone.
The honeymoon activities in Sicily continued with the couple and their friends enjoying boat trips and social gatherings, turning their post-wedding trip into a significant social occasion.
