Jesy Nelson's current boyfriend, Ben Davies, has accused the father of her twin daughters, Zion Foster, of not actively checking in on their children. This exchange follows Foster's release of a new song addressing 'deadbeat dad' claims.

Foster, who split from Nelson earlier this year shortly after their daughters were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (SMA), released a single titled 'Life Goes On.' In the track, Foster raps about his heart bleeding and needing to "pick my battles because the system ain't going to help me through this fight," while also stating he is "hurt to the core" but blocking out "all this noise on social media."

Davies, however, directly challenged Foster's narrative in the comments section of Foster's post, which featured a photo of the rapper in hospital with his daughters. Davies wrote, "Victim [laughing emojis] fully lost the plot this kid. No one's stopped you seeing the girls, you just couldn't be a***d or too busy writing poems making money off them before anyone pipes up, ask him to send a screen shot of the last messages checking in on his girls... I'll wait....."

Foster's song includes lyrics suggesting he has "receipts in my phone and notepad" and questions why he would "save myself and put my girls through that pain as well," emphasizing that social media is "not real" and he is "working everyday to put food on them plates."

He also mentions having "called a lawyer" and feeling "mad at the way he's treated and his hearts bleeding." The chorus of the song states, "Life goes on, we keep on moving, life goes on, we keep on cruising. Tore my heart and I'm a man and put my logic first, you know I'm coming first."

This new track comes after Foster publicly responded to claims he is a 'deadbeat dad' shortly after hard-launching his new relationship. A follower commented on his post, "It’s crazy how so many people are triggered seeing me happy," prompting the response, "Nothing wrong with being happy, more about being a deadbeat dad that triggers people hun x."

Foster retorted on his stories, "You've seen 15 seconds of my life and decided what kind of father I am. you don't know my story." He was also compelled to address a comment accusing him of abandoning his daughters upon learning of their condition, replying, "My daughters aren't a talking point."

Despite the controversy, Foster received support from followers who criticized those judging him. Comments included sentiments like, "You've both parted ways both got new partners and both are still parents....who cares? Some people judge way too much" and "People are allowed to move on and find their happiness."

Nelson recently went public with her relationship with Davies, bringing him as her date to the National Television Awards and sharing their first photo together on Instagram in late August. Foster also appears to have moved on, having reportedly taken a new girlfriend, identified as Sav, on a trip to Portugal and later sharing matching tattoos. They have since made their relationship Instagram official.
