Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger Shine at Paris Fashion Week
The iconic mother-daughter duo attended the Saint Laurent show, with Hall sharing her unconventional fitness and parenting philosophies.
Jerry Hall, 70, and her daughter Georgia May Jagger, 34, made a striking appearance at the Saint Laurent show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. The pair occupied front-row seats for the event, which featured an outdoor runway at the Eiffel Tower.
Hall, a renowned modeling icon, wore a black velvet dress, while Georgia May Jagger opted for a strapless black leather dress, coordinating with her mother's vibrant red lipstick.
Following the show, directed by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the mother and daughter attended a star-studded after-party.
Hall recently spoke about her close bond with her daughters Georgia and Lizzie, both of whom she shares with Mick Jagger. "They're great girls and they're really good models. I've trained them up on glamour and fashion," she told Grazia magazine.
She also reflected on her parenting approach, admitting to having "such a low bar" for her children when they were young, stating her primary concern was that they would not become heroin addicts, offering them the option to always live with her regardless of their educational or career pursuits.
Regarding fitness, Hall revealed she avoids traditional gyms, disliking the idea of exercising purely for vanity. Instead, she stays active through gardening, finding fulfillment in making spaces beautiful. She also shared her practical method for managing her weight: using an old pair of jeans as a gauge, refraining from pasta if they become too tight.
Hall's children had expressed concerns about her participation in the television show "Celebrity Traitors," advising her against engaging in dangerous activities, as they perceive her lifestyle to be akin to her twenties. Hall indicated that despite their warnings, her competitive nature, shared with Mick Jagger and their children, might lead her to push boundaries.
Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger, who separated in 1999, also have three sons: James, Gabriel, and Lucas. "Celebrity Traitors" was scheduled to air on BBC One on Thursday.
