Jason Isaacs Celebrates Tom Felton's Birthday with Heartfelt 'Father-Son' Tribute

Jason Isaacs, known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, posted a warm birthday message to his on-screen son, Tom Felton, on Tuesday. Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy, turned 39.

Isaacs, 63, shared the tribute on Instagram, including a throwback photo from their Hogwarts days alongside a more recent picture. "I had your ear back then and you know you’ll always have mine. Happiest of birthdays, son," Isaacs wrote.

He also acknowledged Felton's current role as Draco Malfoy in the Broadway production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," adding, "You’ve given so many people so much pleasure this year in New York but what they don’t know is how important that is to you. How that feeds your soul. I do and I love you for it."

Isaacs playfully urged the cast and audience to sing "Happy Birthday" at the curtain call, anticipating Felton's potential embarrassment. Felton responded to the post with "Love you dad," and fans flooded the comments with affectionate messages.

"Harry Potter and The Cursed Child" marks Felton's Broadway debut, reprising his film role in the stage production that continues the story 19 years after "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." The play focuses on the next generation, with Draco's son, Scorpius Malfoy, forming a close friendship with Harry Potter's son, Albus Severus Potter.

Felton's public support for author J.K. Rowling has previously contrasted with that of Daniel Radcliffe. While Radcliffe has spoken out against Rowling's views on gender identity, Felton has maintained his loyalty, stating he is not
