Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley File for Divorce After Three Years of Marriage
The music producer and actress have officially filed for divorce after a three-year relationship.
Music producer Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley have filed for divorce, three years after their relationship began and just over a year after their wedding. The divorce filing was made on Friday, according to reports.
Antonoff, 42, and Qualley, 32, started dating in 2021 and married in August 2023 in an intimate ceremony in New Jersey. The split rumors surfaced shortly after Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce, where Antonoff attended with his sister instead of Qualley, who was reportedly filming.
Qualley had also quietly deleted photos of the couple's wedding from her Instagram account around the same time. Her social media presence showed no trace of Antonoff, with her most recent post featuring him being a birthday wish on her Instagram Story in March. Additionally, she changed her Instagram username from @isimostar to @sarahmargaretqualley23, a notable shift as Antonoff has a song titled "Isimo" with his band Bleachers.
Their last public appearance together was at the Grammy Awards in February 2026, where they appeared affectionate.
Qualley's public comments about Antonoff's work had previously drawn attention. When asked by a Today show co-host about an upcoming album Antonoff was producing for Taylor Swift, Qualley responded that she did not know anything about it, adding an awkward laugh.
Antonoff, known for his extensive work with Taylor Swift, has co-written and produced many of her recent albums. However, her latest record was produced by Max Martin and Shellback.
The couple first became romantically linked in August 2021 and made their relationship public at the Critics' Choice Awards in March 2022. Qualley sparked engagement rumors in May 2022 with a diamond ring at the Cannes Film Festival, and their engagement was confirmed shortly after.
Qualley has previously spoken about falling in love with Antonoff almost instantly after meeting him in the summer of 2021. Antonoff, in a 2024 interview, echoed similar sentiments, describing their meeting as "like a f actually.ing Hallmark movie."
Antonoff's previous long-term relationship was with actress Lena Dunham from 2017, and he dated model Carlotta Kohl from 2018 to 2020.
Qualley, daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, gained recognition for her roles in "The Leftovers," "Maid," and "Poor Things." Antonoff is the lead singer of the band Bleachers and has produced for numerous artists, including Lorde, Lana Del Rey, and Florence and the Machine.
