An unnamed source told the Daily Mail that model Brooks Nader has intentionally cultivated publicity by encouraging dating rumours linking her to tennis stars Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner following the U.S. Open.
The Daily Mail report said the insider described Nader’s apparent strategy as an effort "to be connected to every story, relationship or drama as much as possible" as she pursues a higher public profile and a reality television career. The source said Nader prefers to remain single and "is looking to have lots of fun," adding that "the more she is in the news, the better."
Reports that the Spanish Open champion Alcaraz and Italian player Sinner were romantically linked to Nader emerged in the days after the U.S. Open men's final, which Alcaraz won over Sinner. Initial rumours circulated that Nader had been seen with Alcaraz at the tournament; those accounts were followed by separate reports that she had been seeing Sinner during the same period.
Nader, who models for Sports Illustrated, declined to confirm any romance when questioned during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. In the segment, host Jimmy Kimmel showed a photograph of Nader seated in the stands alongside comedian Stephen Colbert and asked directly whether she was dating Sinner; Nader replied evasively and did not give a straight answer. The Daily Mail report also noted comments from Nader’s sister, Grace Ann, who earlier said an athlete whose name "rhymes with winner" had direct-messaged her and later told reporters that "dating is such a loose term," when asked about her sister and Alcaraz.
Attempts to verify the reports produced mixed responses. A Spanish journalist, citing Alcaraz’s inner circle, told a Spanish television show that Alcaraz and Nader are "not dating" and that Alcaraz has told those close to him he is "single and has no intention of having any serious relationships." The Daily Mail account said Alcaraz’s camp sought to downplay the rumours.
The insider quoted by the Daily Mail framed the behaviour as part of Nader’s wider media strategy, saying she is "kind of addicted to the drama" and enjoys the attention that relationship speculation brings. The source compared her approach to that of public figures who leverage high-profile personal links for broader visibility.
Nader split from professional dancer Gleb Savchenko in April after meeting on Dancing With the Stars. Alcaraz, 22, is widely reported to be single and has been linked in the past to British player Emma Raducanu; Sinner also separated from a previous relationship earlier this year. Representatives for Nader, Alcaraz and Sinner did not immediately respond to requests for comment referenced in reporting.
Media outlets and commentators have followed the story as an illustration of how public relationships and celebrity can intersect with elite sports coverage. The Daily Mail article presenting the insider’s account is the principal source for the claims that Nader has sought to maintain a high public profile through such rumours; other outlets have reported denials from Alcaraz’s camp and Nader’s noncommittal public comments but have not provided evidence of official relationships between the model and either player.
