The new Starz series "Fightland," executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, premieres Friday, July 31. The series centers on Duke Kilroy, a former world heavyweight boxing champion whose life is upended by a devastating event, leading him to prison. Following his release, Kilroy returns home with a singular goal: vengeance against his former promoter and criminal kingpin, Kingsley Marshall.
According to Starz, Kingsley has disappeared, leaving his wife, Joy—who is also the former love of Duke's life—and their children to deal with the aftermath. The narrative follows Kilroy's quest to confront the man he believes framed him.
"Fightland" debuts on Starz at 9:00 p.m. ET on July 31, with an encore presentation airing at 10:50 p.m. ET. For those eager to watch early, the series premiere is available on the STARZ app starting at 12:00 a.m. ET on the same day.
