Hilary Duff has teamed up with Bath & Body Works as a creative partner and campaign ambassador for the launch of its new Fruit Fusion body care line. The collection features four "joyful" scents designed to evoke Y2K nostalgia and provide lasting hydration.
Duff stated that the partnership aligns with her personal philosophy of feeling good in one's own skin and choosing products that offer real benefits. "Fruit Fusion by Bath & Body Works fits into that perfectly," she said in a press release. "The scents are joyful, the products actually deliver, and it's something I genuinely look forward to using."
The Fruit Fusion line is characterized by fruit-forward fragrances and is formulated with "skin-focused ingredients" such as shea butter, coconut oil, and hyaluronic acid. The products are dermatologist-approved and vegan, offering "real, lasting hydration."
The collection's aesthetic and bright, fruity fragrances are reminiscent of Bath & Body Works' former "Art Stuff" line, which was popular with tweens and teens in the early 2000s. This connection is intended to appeal to consumers who experienced Y2K culture.
Each of the four scents is available in multiple product formats, including Moisturizing Body Wash, Smooth and Soothe Body Cream, Perfume Mist, Body Lotion, Lip Oil, Hand Cream, and Travel Size Perfume Mist. Some items, like the PocketSpray Hand Sanitizer, are also available.
Fragrance Breakdown
Banana Blend features notes of Italian bergamot, sweet orange, whipped banana, candied jasmine, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood. It is described as a creamy, summery, and upbeat scent.
Watermelon Whirl offers top notes of juicy watermelon and sugared berries, with heart notes of dewy fruits and peony petals, and a base of soft musks, sheer vanilla, and blonde woods. This scent is characterized as modern, refreshing, and playful.
Berry Bliss combines blackberry, acai, and pineapple at the top, with tart pomegranate in the heart, and sugar, sheer woods, and musk in the base. It is described as a bright and bold fragrance.
Tangerine Twirl includes fizzy tangerine, sparkling pink grapefruit, and blood orange as top notes, with nectarine blossom and mango pulp at the heart, and blonde woods and sheer musk in the base. This scent is intended to be energetic, joyful, and optimistic.
Duff is scheduled to embark on a world tour ahead of this product launch. The new line is now available through Bath & Body Works.
