Heidi Klum Transforms into Gruesome Severed Hand for Annual Halloween Bash

Heidi Klum once again set a high bar for Halloween costumes, arriving at her annual star-studded party in New York City dressed as a gruesome, bloody severed hand. The 53-year-old German supermodel, known for her elaborate transformations, outdid herself with the grotesque look, complete with long red claws and visible veins bursting from a bloody wrist. Klum's own face was integrated into a macabre, gaping wound.

Her costume's outer layer revealed a second horrific look, with gory face prosthetics and a blonde wig paired with massive, finger-like leg prosthetics. Klum shared the reveal on Instagram, posting "TALK TO THE HAND ✋ #HeidiHalloween 2026 HERE WE GO." She had previously teased the costume on social media, sharing glimpses of props covered in fake blood and her makeup team applying special effects.

Klum shared numerous snaps on Instagram as she prepared for the annual bash.

In the middle of getting extensive prosthetics applied to her face, she filmed and posted a clip of herself eating ham-flavored chips from a bag with her face across the front.

Klum was accompanied by a five-person entourage dressed in yellow hazmat suits. During the red carpet appearance, one of the entourage members hilariously kept Klum hydrated by squirting liquid into her gaping mouth via a syringe. The model's legs were concealed within the hand's middle and ring fingers, while one arm was inserted into the thumb portion of the costume. Her daughter Leni dressed as Miss Piggy, Lou wore a purple superhero outfit, and Johan came as a zombie.

The model's legs were hidden in the hand's middle and ring fingers, while she was able to slide one arm into the thumb.

Klum has a long history of memorable Halloween costumes since beginning her annual party in 2000. Last year, she portrayed Medusa. Previous costumes have included E.T., a peacock, an alien, and Princess Fiona from Shrek. In 2022, her worm costume, which involved her slithering on the floor, gained significant viral attention.

The star later stripped away her costume's outer layer and unveiled a second look that was just as horrific, pairing gory face prosthetics and a blonde wig with her existing set of massive, finger-like leg prosthetics.

Among the guests also showcasing impressive costumes were Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, who appeared as the creepy twins from Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining." Kyle MacLachlan paid homage to his role as the villain in "The Flintstones" movie, while his wife Desiree Gruber was dressed as a pirate. Model Hayley Kalil embodied Jessica Rabbit, accompanied by her boyfriend Steven Mast as Roger Rabbit. Makeup influencer James Charles was unrecognizable as Yzma from "The Emperor's New Groove."

Francesca Scorsese, the daughter of legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese who became a social-media sensation before following her father's steps into the film industry, put on a busty display in a gray-and-blue corset-style dress.

Other notable attendees included Eric McCormack as Freddie Mercury, influencer Chase Hudson as Patrick Bateman from "American Psycho," and French model Bach Buquen as Hellboy. Singer Jade Thirlwall transformed into a stone angel or gargoyle, and model Rebecca Mir donned a "Matrix"-inspired outfit. Valentina Sampaio appeared as Poison Ivy from "Batman & Robin," and Lux Pascal presented as a mime.

The French influencer and model Bach Buquen had his face and torso covered with red paint to transform him into Hellboy.
