Heidi Klum's Halloween Party Sees Stars Transform for 25th Anniversary Bash
From gruesome transformations to iconic character recreations, celebrities pulled out all the stops for Klum's annual star-studded event.
Heidi Klum's legendary Halloween party celebrated its 25th anniversary this year with a dazzling array of celebrity costumes ranging from the glamorous to the grotesque. The annual New York City event saw stars transform into a variety of characters and figures, vying for the most elaborate and attention-grabbing ensembles.
Klum herself set a high bar, arriving in a meticulously crafted costume of her own severed left hand. The creation featured immense fingers, long red nails, dangling tendons, and dripping blood, with only her eyes and mouth visible through extensive prosthetics. This look, masterminded by special-effects collaborator Mike Marino, took months of planning and four months to construct. Klum later revealed a second, equally horrific look, combining gory face prosthetics and a blonde wig with finger-like leg prosthetics. Getting into the elaborate costume reportedly took five to six hours.
Among the notable guests, model Vanessa Fuchs channeled Natalie Portman's character Alice from the film "Closer," sporting a pink wig, purple lingerie-style outfit, and a white fur coat. Haley Kalil embodied Jessica Rabbit, while Valentina Sampaio adopted the persona of Poison Ivy. Laura Abla recreated Madonna's infamous VMAs kiss with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, featuring companions dressed as Spears and Aguilera.
Taylor Momsen and Steph Gomez paid homage to AC/DC, with Momsen dressed as Angus Young and Gomez as Brian Johnson. Neil Patrick Harris and husband David Burtka arrived as the Grady twins from Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining."
Samuel Williamson and Alexa Hendricks brought Disney characters to life as Hercules and Megara. Other attendees included Paris Jackson, Questlove, Ice-T, and Coco Austin.
Klum's children also participated in the festivities: Leni dressed as Miss Piggy, Johan as Michael Jackson from "Thriller," and Lou as Starfire from "Teen Titans."
The host's previous Halloween costumes have included Medusa, E.T., a peacock, an alien, Princess Fiona, and famously, a worm in 2022, which required extensive prosthetics and limited her mobility. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, had previously complemented her worm costume by dressing as a fisherman.
Other guests displayed a wide range of creativity. Jade Thirlwall transformed into a stone angel or gargoyle, while Bach Buquen appeared as Hellboy. James Charles was unrecognizable as the villain Yzma from "The Emperor's New Groove." "American Psycho" inspiration was channeled by Chase Hudson, and Francesca Scorsese donned a corset-style dress. Eric McCormack and Luise Grossmann both paid tribute to Freddie Mercury. Neil Patrick Harris and Tuc Watkins came as menacing sailors.
The party, which Klum has hosted annually since 2000, continues to be a highlight of the Halloween season, showcasing elaborate costumes and a strong celebrity turnout.
