Hear'Say and Liberty X Announce Reunion Tour 25 Years After 'Popstars'

Hear'Say and Liberty X have announced they are joining forces for a joint arena tour, celebrating 25 years since their emergence on the reality television show 'Popstars: The Rivals'. The 13-date tour is scheduled for 2027, with tickets going on sale on October 16.

The Hear'Say reunion will feature four original members: Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan. Liberty X will return with its complete original lineup, including Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, and Kelli Young.

The bands shared the news with a trailer featuring Liberty X in leather outfits and Hear'Say in their signature early 2000s style. Myleene Klass, a member of Hear'Say, confirmed last week that she would not participate in the reunion due to scheduling conflicts.

Both groups expressed enthusiasm for the comeback. Hear'Say stated that reuniting after 25 years is "incredibly special" and offers a chance to celebrate their shared history. Liberty X described the tour as a perfect way to mark the milestone, bringing their music and energy back to the stage.

Liberty X, formed on 'Popstars' in 2001, achieved chart success with their debut single "Thinking It Over." Their third single, "Just A Little," became a global hit, reaching number one in the UK and becoming the ninth best-selling single of 2002. The band disbanded in 2007 but reunited for the ITV show "The Big Reunion" in 2012.

Members of Liberty X initiated the idea for the reunion tour, reaching out to members of Hear'Say directly. Kym Marsh humorously noted that while she is now a grandmother and their dance routines may not be as energetic as before, there will be a nod to their past performances.
