Harvey Price, 23, joined his mother Katie Price onstage at the Forum Theatre in Billingham on Tuesday night during a stop on the duo’s ongoing tell-all tour, dancing as former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona performed.
Katie Price, 47, and Katona, 45, performed before a packed crowd; Harvey, the eldest of Price’s five children, was introduced to applause and appeared visibly pleased as he took the stage in a blue top, grey tracksuit bottoms and a green bucket hat with frog-eye detailing. As Katona sang the Atomic Kitten hit "Whole Again," Price and Katona held Harvey’s hand while members of the audience stood and danced along.
Harvey, who is blind, autistic and has septo-optic dysplasia, accompanied his mother on what organisers billed as a candid live show. Katie shared behind-the-scenes photographs from her dressing room earlier in the day, including shots of Harvey getting his nails done alongside her.
The Billingham performance came a day after Price arrived more than two hours late to a scheduled show at Whitley Bay Playhouse, where organisers had already pushed back the advertised start time by 30 minutes, citing "technical difficulties." An attendee told the Daily Mail that Price was not present when the show began and that Katona performed solo until Price arrived. When she finally appeared on stage, Price addressed the lateness, saying, "S--- happened, sorry. At least no one died!" The pair then continued their set, which ended with Katona singing "Whole Again."
Attendees at Billingham and the Whitley Bay performance reported sound difficulties that made dialogue hard to hear, according to Chronicle Live and audience accounts shared with media. Daily Mail reported the Monday delay and later contacted representatives for Price and Whitley Bay Playhouse for comment.
The Billingham stop was not the only recent show affected by disorder. The duo’s performance at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton last week was disrupted when security removed a group described by staff as "drunken and disruptive," delaying the second half of that night’s show. Merseyside Police said they received a report shortly before 9:10 p.m. on Sunday from security staff at the Floral Pavilion that several females had been asked to leave because of their behaviour, and that those individuals had refused and been verbally abusive. "Enquiries into the matter are ongoing," a police spokesperson said.
Price and Katona’s live appearances have drawn attention for their candid content and for offstage incidents that have affected show timings and audience experience. Both performers have at times acknowledged setbacks onstage; last week Price apologised to the audience after the Floral Pavilion disturbance.
Tour organisers did not issue an immediate statement about the Billingham performance. The shows continue to draw sizeable audiences, and media coverage has highlighted both the personal moments—such as Harvey joining his mother—and the logistical problems that have disrupted several recent dates.
Katie Price first rose to public prominence in the early 2000s and has since been a frequent presence in British tabloid and broadcast media; Kerry Katona found fame as a member of pop group Atomic Kitten and has pursued television and stage work in the years since. The pair have presented their current tour as a mix of recollection and performance, attracting fans keen to see their interactions and personal revelations live onstage.
