Harry Potter Series Filming Transforms English Village

The village of Latimer in Buckinghamshire has been transformed into a 1990s setting for the filming of a new Harry Potter television series.
Plum Jam Productions, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery, obtained permission for the three-day shoot. Residents were notified earlier this month about the upcoming production. During the filming period, local residents with permits were allowed limited passage through the village on Monday evening. Observers noted period cars lining the streets and a fete organized on the village green.
Access to the village was restricted to emergency vehicles on Tuesday while the set was active. Preparations for the dismantling of the set were scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
Some residents reported feeling isolated due to traffic diversions. Vehicles were rerouted along a narrow, unlit country road that is prone to congestion. The production's setup and teardown phases significantly impacted local traffic flow.
