Hannah Waddingham and Sharon Stone shared a warm embrace on the red carpet at the Women In Film Honors in Beverly Hills on Thursday. Waddingham, 52, received the Crystal Award for Advocacy in TV, presented by Stone, 68.
The "Ted Lasso" actress looked radiant in a backless turquoise satin gown with a plunging V-neckline, accessorized with chunky gold earrings and black heels. Stone opted for a chic black leather trench dress, paired with tights and statement earrings.
The evening also honored Adria Arjona with the WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award, and Gemma Chan and Beth de Araújo with the Crystal Award for Advocacy in Film. Salma Hayek Pinault received the Jane Fonda Humanitarian Award, presented by Jane Fonda herself.
In a separate anecdote shared during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Waddingham revealed she turned down an offer to appear on "Celebrity Traitors" due to her fear of being buried alive, despite her "Ted Lasso" co-star Nick Mohammed's participation. She also recounted a near-miss where she almost injured Prince William with a dart while discussing his Earthshot Prize initiative.
Additionally, Waddingham shared her enthusiasm for the White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake, famously gifted by Tom Cruise annually. She described the cake from Doan's Bakery as a significant indulgence, stating, "He's ruined me for all other cakes."
