Gogglebox Star Baasit Siddiqui Celebrates 14th Wedding Anniversary

Gogglebox star Baasit Siddiqui recently celebrated his 14th wedding anniversary with his wife, Melissa. The TV personality marked the occasion on social media, sharing a photo of the couple enjoying an anniversary breakfast and reflecting on their time together.

Siddiqui, who has been a cast member of the Channel 4 show since its debut in 2013 alongside his father and brothers, posted a tribute to Melissa, who has largely remained out of the public eye. He shared a picture from their wedding day, noting Melissa's past hairstyle and wedding gown. "No idea where the 14 years have gone!" Siddiqui wrote in his post. "Somehow along the way 14 years has passed since we said 'I do.' Time really does fly when you're having fun! Here's to many more."

The couple commemorated their anniversary with breakfast and discussions about their children, Amelia and Theodore. The family also shared photos from a summer trip to Cyprus, including an outing to the Agioi Saranta Cave Church.

Last year, while celebrating their 13th anniversary, the couple revealed they had been together for over 16 years. At the time, Melissa expressed her deep affection for Baasit, stating, "13 years married today, 16.5 years together - forever to go... Happy Anniversary to the absolute best, couldn’t do life without you... Love you xxx."

In April 2025, Baasit and Melissa announced their intention to run in the London Marathon to raise funds for the mental health charity Mind. Siddiqui, who previously worked as a teacher and now focuses on education support, highlighted the growing mental health crisis and the importance of Mind's work. He noted the prevalence of mental health challenges across the education sector, affecting teachers, children, and parents, particularly in light of the cost of living crisis. He expressed pride in running the marathon with his wife to support the cause.
