The event, part of the BFI London Film Festival, saw Pugh in attendance to support her colleagues Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams, who star in the film adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's novel. The movie also features producer Rachel Forman.

"Klara and the Sun" centers on Ortega's portrayal of the titular character, a robot designed to combat loneliness, who forms a bond with a teenager in a future where genetic engineering has created societal divisions. Ortega, 24, appeared in a form-fitting gold satin gown, while Adams, 52, who plays a mother figure in the film, opted for a black and white ensemble.

Pugh's recent public appearances have also included a sighting with her boyfriend, Finn Cole, a star of "Peaky Blinders." The couple attended a screening for the boxing drama "In The Shadows," in which Cole appears. Pugh wore a silver Wiederhoeft gown to that event, and Cole accompanied her in a suit.

The couple, who have been dating since 2024, have been the subject of engagement rumors after Pugh was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger. They made their relationship Instagram official in April, sharing photos from a Bulgari event in Milan. Their romance reportedly began after they were first linked as dating following the September 2024 premiere of Netflix's "The Perfect Couple."
