Filming of The Batman Part II Halted After Crew Member Injured by Batmobile

Filming for the upcoming movie "The Batman Part II" experienced a significant interruption when a crew member was struck by the Batmobile during a scene shoot. The incident occurred earlier this month on location in the United Kingdom, causing production to halt.

The injured individual was immediately transported to a hospital, where they received treatment for their injuries. They have since been released and are currently recovering at home.

The accident took place during the filming of a dramatic scene. Sources from the set described the event as having gone "horribly wrong." While "The Batman" films are known for their ambitious action sequences, this incident served as a stark reminder of the inherent risks involved in large-scale movie productions.

Production has since resumed at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire. "The Batman Part II" stars Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Bruce Wayne and is directed by Matt Reeves. The film is slated for release in February 2028.

The Batmobile involved in the incident is the same souped-up muscle car design featured in the first film, a departure from the more eccentric designs seen in previous installments of the franchise.

This is not the first pause in production for the sequel. Earlier, director Matt Reeves temporarily stepped away from the film due to personal reasons. During his absence, director Steven Soderbergh was brought in to help manage filming, working closely with Reeves to maintain the director's original vision for the movie. Warner Bros. has been approached for comment on the incident.
