London Fashion Week saw a playful embrace of feathers, most notably at the Erdem show, where the unexpected adorned both the catwalk and the front row.

Actresses Hayley Atwell and Felicity Jones were among the attendees spotted in supersized marabou feather slippers. Designer Erdem Moralioglu, known for his romantic and whimsical creations, offset masculine tailoring with hyper-feminine gowns for his spring/summer 2027 collection. Marabou feathers spilled from the sleeves of silk dressing gowns, and ostrich feathers added volume and structure to 1920s-inspired flapper dresses.

Among the other notable attendees were Marisa Abela, Ruth Wilson, and Lashana Lynch, with the latter two also opting for feather-accented footwear.

Meanwhile, the Mulberry show, under the debut direction of Christopher Kane, focused on supersized accessories and updated heritage styles. The brand's popular Bayswater bag for spring/summer 2027 was presented in oversized proportions and colors like silver and dark brown. Kane also introduced a new top-handle bag, the Stevie. Outerwear featured parkas with exaggerated funnel hoods, and checks from the Mulberry archive appeared on oversized shirts and coats. The collection also included notable leather pieces such as tank dresses and miniskirts.
